What equipment operates on St Pancras to Corby?

Is it a commuter-type service with 2-2 seat configuration in 1ST or does it have an InterCity 1-2 configuration?

Many thanks in advance. :)

The best trains on the network ;)
class 222s, normally in 4/5 coach formations. Occasional HSTs in times of disruption or stock shortages.

There's a booked HST every day (1M66 and return) and a couple of 7-car workings too, if I'm not mistaken.

I took the 11am departure. There were five coaches, with one and two thirds in 1ST configuration and the others in STD. Interiors were in good condition.

There were four passengers in 1ST including me and STD was at about 50% seat factor.

1ST catering included bottled water (still or sparkling) and Walker's shortbread.

A good journey. :)
