Stafford to London Paddington via Reading

Hi all,

Is this a permitted route for Stafford to London Terminals?

Would need to break at Reading in both directions, same day outbound, overnight break on the return - pretty sure that's all OK but just wanted to double check...

It passes the National Rail Enquires test for being doable on one ticket, so I'd say so.

That route is permitted in the Routeing Guide on maps RF+RG

It is permitted. Although be warned, I have been incorrectly issued PFs three times (successfully appealed) by FGW RPIs in the past for travelling on a Crewe to London Terminals ticket via Reading who refused to accept it was valid. This is despite the route being valid and having an itinerary on me. So take an itinerary with you and be prepared to have an argument!
