Dukes Travel of Coleford is Stagecoach's latest takeover
Stagecoach will take over all the current routes run by Dukes Travel as well as the depot in Coleford. The company will be absorbed into the current Stagecoach in Gloucester operation using the trading name of "Stagecoach in Wye & Dean."
Stagecoach has already gauranteed Dukes Travel drivers jobs within Stagecoach and are already in the process of sending some surplus Volvo/Alexander PS single deckers from Oxford down to Dukes Travel to modernize the fleet.
The take over will take effect from 20th March 2006.
