Hardly surprising, it's been semi-preserved with an operator up in Scotland somewhere for quiet a while.

unusual allocation spotted in Penrith
16337 was on the 106 this afternoon normally always a B10m, didn't think a decker would fit along some of those roads.. funny at a time when carlisle and penrith seem to be struggling with deckers.

16338 was on market bus, presuming that means 17017 is still out of action

20473 on X4

also not stagecoach related but being Ambleside based might interest a few of you http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Charabanc...ses_Coaches&hash=item25706bc7f1#ht_980wt_1270 if I had the money I'd snap it up!!

The afternoon 106 is allocated to be a Olympian instead of a B10M.

Only E400 that turned up last night was PX12 DNE,DND the night before, DMF is parked up at ME amongst the others.

I noted PX12DNV and U ready to leave Falkirk today.

17017 will probably be a while yet. Looked like it had no engine or gearbox in it when I went past the depot start of this week. 4th engine blowout in the 20 months its been in Cumbria, probably about 9 of those 20 months off the road.

17017 had a new engine fitted on Thursday and is due back out now.

DNN and DNO must be either in leyland or turned up over the weekend as they should have been in the yard on friday night.

Not really sure why they would take them past Lancaster to get to Leyland then bring them back up from Leyland to Lancaster. It makes no sense.

They did it with DNF on wednesday night and was in the yard when i went in on thursday.

How strange. I suppose if it happened there must be a reason but I can't think why. As far as I am aware Leyland is simply treated as a half way point and no extra work or anything is done there so I'm not sure why they didn't just drop them at Lancaster seeing as they have to drive past it on route to Leyland lol.

A couple of notes from Preston yesterday.
Olympian 16651 was out working the 4C along with Esteem 28513. Semi training coach 52172 was out on training duties along with 52257 which was on Megabus training with the luggage trailer.

Think i was seeing things but i'm sure i saw an E300 on the 41 to preston on morecambe rd at 14:10ish.

You did indeed see an E300 on the 41's.

From what I was told and happy to be corrected the 40/41/42 were diverted down the motorway. I could be complete tosh I didn't see it myself!

A couple of my regular passengers said that the bus they were on was diverted between New Holly and Garstang via some narrow lanes.

When I pulled into the Bus Station at 18.32 with the 18.38 departure, every stand on the Bus station full with out of service stagecoach buses, had to wait until 18.42 before a stand become free. Resulting in making me run late.

Hand full of interesting movements there. Is there anything else going through paint prep?
