35249 on full X5 this afternoon running 20 minutes late so will have replaced a failed profile I'd guess.
22160 on the 104 this afternoon.

52629 22160 16645 24123 (Might be 24) on the 104 if memory serves.

34219, 34221, 47022, 18361 and 20219 all had a spell on the short 685.

Reading through the last few postings, it would appear that the management (or staff) at Carlisle is loosing the plot a bit, with Solo's & decker's working the same services at the same time, route branded buses working the wrong routes, etc.

No wonder then, that Reay's keep claiming that they are winning the passengers in Carlisle.

To be fair there were major accidents on the A6 (104 route) and Castle way and also Carlisle was playing at home, the traffic was bad with out the RTA divershions.

The short 685 to Brampton runs to a very tight timetable, one bus, 25 mins each way with 5 mins turn around at each end and is once per hour (There is also a one per hour 685 Carlisle <> Newcastle coach so giving a service every 30 mins to Brampton). Usually a Solo is sufficient for passenger loadings and 1 bus for the service to be viable. It uses the A69 throughout and passes along Warwick Road which has Carlisle United football ground. So bad traffic and football crowds would hit the schedule badly both ways. A week or so ago there were off peak road works for a utility company for at least a week which caused a mid morning out and back working (the 11.04 return from Brampton) to be 30+mins late back in Carlilse having lost at least 15mins each way - I think this was happening all day every day whilst the utility company had the road up near the football ground with queues back into Carlisle one way and out to the M6 J43/Tesco the other way.

are thanks for that, just wondered as every time I use it I unintentionally land on the decker!

of the four 104 time slots, the same time slot's tend to have the same buses on each day during term time anyway. So the 10:05 and 10:35 from Carlisle are both deckers and the 11:05 and 11:35 from Carlisle are normally E300's so if you particularly want to catch an E300 try and work it out from that! in the holidays it can be quite different though!

300 branded 15685 making an appearance on the 600 today. First time for a Scania?

62 branded 34698 on the 79 with 24122 on the 685.

Reays have a short E200 KX08UCU? on the 75 at present.

Due to the 40/1 being curtailed to Lancaster only - they'll be transferred up to Lillyhall for the extra runs on 300 competing with Reays.

Seems very strange to put tridents into reserve fleet and of fleet when there is so many sheds running about in cumbria ie N reg Volvos on a main route from Carlisle to I take it workington/whitehaven or lakes

Suppose we can be thankful the old K Reg deckers have finally gone to scrap or have they?

As far as I know all the N reg olympians are now withdrawn and have been replaced at various depots with a number of 05/55 reg tridents.

Do you ever have anything positive to say about SCNW? Wouldn't mind if you had your facts right.

Which n reg volvo was this then on core routes?

Would be interested to know that as well, seeing as the only active N reg is Barrow's 16339 on schools  Not like Reays ex-Stagecoach M reg B10 that was used on Carlisle city services most days with the ex-Dublin Olympian (guaranteed easy access?), then there's the 5 N reg ex-Stagecoach 709D's, the ex-Go Ahead N reg open top Olympian and the ex-Arriva North Wales G reg open top Scania.

Since when have the westgate buses(6/6A) gone from Versa to MAN operated?

There is normally the three Versa's, plus one MAN on the service.

I noticed a MAN on there yesterday with a Versa on the 7 but didn't think anything of it. It's probably just a blip :)

The Versa's are also making regular appearances on the 5's & 51's in the evening.
