I read somewhere else (forget where) that the removal of the yellow is official. That looks a lot better (I still don't like it much, but removing the orange stops it looking like a Fisher Price toy at least). I wonder if that's a depot rebellion, or if HQ have realised how bad it looked?
On that model of bus, it even gives it a sort of "smiley face" front.

I’m not sure on the placement of the side logo, looks a bit shoved in.Another change

Any idea where this is for? The OCBP suggested that there wouldn't be any vehicles in the new livery until the summer. If it's short I'd guess Oxford maybe to replace the Enviro 200s there, if longer maybe S4 to replace the Scanias?First Oxfordshire vehicle in the new livery is due soon (a 20 plate E200MMC) so it will be interesting what variation of the livery it will be in!
Here's the first attempt from Bluebird:

The lack of orange on the front is confirmed as being correct…
You don't want to see it on a Pointer Dart then. It looks plain wrong. No, still don't like it. Less "Fisher Price", but the proportions look wrong on a single-decker and the back just looks silly, just paint it one colour.
Are there any photos of one yet?You don't want to see it on a Pointer Dart then. It looks plain wrong.
Happened to pass said bus today (apologies for the bad photo), also omitting the yellow up front.South Wales' first repaint in to the new colours. Is this the first "classic" E200 to be done?

Most areas now seem to have started repainting into the new livery. Manchester (apart from publicity one) and Merseyside & South Lancashire appear to be exceptions. Is there any news on when they will start and on what vehicles?
That's a shame. I always thought The King's City livery was extremely smart.Kent appears to have repainted an ex Gold E400 (15181 YN64AKG) and E200 MMC (26243 YW19VNN, While Hampshire has had two of it's very smart 'The Kings City' E200s repainted into the toy town scheme (37406 YX65PXY & 37415 YX65PYL).
Is this the first vehicle painted into the longer distance yellow livery since launch:

Have to say it looks even more schoolbussy on the double decker and certainly less premium than the previous Gold livery.
Prefer it. Never a fan of the Gold brand. Though it ridiculously elitist. Is this the first vehicle painted into the longer distance yellow livery since launch:

It's awful. They must be out of their corporate minds. Is this the first vehicle painted into the longer distance yellow livery since launch:

It does allow a certain smugness value. The same way as it was said that one of the critics of the Eiffel tower used to eat there as it was the only place in Paris you couldn't see it from, if you're traveling in one of these you don't have to see the livery!Absolutely horrid. Says "knackered old decker repurposed to school bus", not "premium".

Ignoring people's views on the new livery the worst bit about the relaunch is the apparent removal of the few good local liveries that had managed to sneak past HQ, such as the King's City and the X5.The X5 "premium" brand I think is nicer. School bus yellow is just an insane idea.
