New service registered from 30th October in Plymouth.

Service 30/31. Royal Parade to Royal Parade via Mannamead and Peverell. Is this a mix of the old 31 and 39 subsidised services withdrawn at start of this year perhaps?

Would be great if it was a reincarnation of the *old* 30/31 via Tor Lane, Beacon Pk and Keyham :D :D
Every 12 minutes each way round, in 1974 :D

That's a bit out the way from Taunton.
Surely an outstation in Taunton would be better

Have you considered the fact that Tiverton has spare capacity so that there's no additional rental cost there?

Having an small outbase of just three vehicles means only perhaps 5 drivers. How do you cover holidays locally?

Also, a larger outbase at Tiverton means you can get engineering cover sorted sooner/justify a spare vehicle, so more service resilience?

Aren't those arguments for why Tiverton is a better solution, at least until there is a greater amount of Taunton area work (i.e. critical mass?)

Could they run the Exeter routes (e.g. the 355) from a Tiverton outstation as well?

I believe Tiverton or Exeter run a contract to Bridgwater for workers early in the morning, the middle of the day and the evening. This could work well for some driver changes and break cover.

A number of buses have now been transferred. Mostly from Scotland.
22572, 27533, 27602, 36034, 36202, 36206, 36324.

Rumours on a Facebook are that Torquay are due a number of new optares, 48139-48148 being mentioned. I wonder if there are any more new orders coming our way.
