The station at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is also on the North Wales Coast Line.

Although often being referred to with as that, the official name of that station is Llanfairpwll, which is significantly shorter. Conversly, Cark & Cartmel is often referred to as "Cark", despite it's official name being the longer version.

Ravenglass for Eskdale is also not referred to by it's full name on Northern's 'Cumbrian Coast Line' timetable.

Dovey Junction is another station on the Cambrian Coast. It is the point where trains towards Aberystwyth and Pwllheli go separate ways, though not where they divide, that being at Machynlleth.
