London Paddington has also had a TV series made about it.
I'm querying this. I'm not sure if the relation is railway related.

When originally built, Paddington was two tracks only. The quadrupling of the tracks was completed to Westbourne Park on 30 October 1871, Slough in June 1879 and Maidenhead in September 1884.
This is not valid. Westbourne Park is a London Underground station only. Only open National Rail stations are allowed.

Okay, point taken … if the Quizmaster accepts Paddington, I'll revise it to this:

When originally built, Paddington was two tracks only. The quadrupling of the tracks was completed to Westbourne Park on 30 October 1871, Slough in June 1879 and Maidenhead in September 1884.

If he doesn't, it can go back to Glasgow Central, and I'll offer this one:

London Paddington also has a hotel which was opened by the railway company but is now privately owned.

Over to you!

Originally named "Goring", it was renamed to "Goring & Streatley" in 1895 to avoid confusion with Goring-by-Sea.

The long distance path called ythe Downs Link runs along the line of the Steyning Line and Cranleigh Line for part of its length from At Martha's Hill to Shoreham-by-Sea. The Steyning Line ran from Shoreham-by-Sea to Horsham, leaving the route of the downs link at Christs Hospital

Following the closure of the Steyning Line, Christ's Hospital is now only on the Arun Valley Line. Another station on this line is at Faygate.

In 2011, Accrington underwent a major redevelopment, costing £2 million, which is to construct a new ticket office. During that same year, Farnborough (Main) also had redevelopment, including new lifts, transport interchanges (bike shelters, bus stops) and a new car park.

In 1962, Eastleigh Works (located south of the station) built the first six of the Class 73 electro-diesel locomotives, but the remainder were built with Vulcan Foundry at Newton-le-Willows.

The modernisation and electrification of the Preston to Blackpool North line resulted in a total blockade of the line, and hence the station at Salwick as far as Kirkham and Wesham station from 11th November 2017 until 29th January 2018.
