The Three Letter Station Code for Alresford (ALR) corresponds to the first three letters of the station's name.
The same thing applies at LAN = Lancaster.
The handy Wayfarer day rover ticket comes in two varieties - Derbyshire and Greater Manchester.
The two versions have different areas of validity, with some overlap between them.
