Shadwell is a station on the London Overground system (The East London Line) but as the route was built by a forerunner of London Underground, it is actually underground. New Cross Gate is also on the East London Line, but is an overground station.

Westbound trains from Barnes can either remain on the Waterloo to Reading Line, or take the Hounslow Loop Line, which rejoins the former between Whitton and Feltham. If they do the latter, they pass through Brentford station.

The layout at Goldthorpe station is very similar to neighbouring Thurnscoe (and the other stations opened on the same route, e.g. Sandal and Agbrigg and Outwood), namely two wooden platforms with basic shelters on each side.

The current Wembley Stadium station dates from 1st March 1906, when the Great Central Railway began to run passenger services from London Marylebone on a previously freight only route between Neasden Junction and Northolt Junction. Three new stations were opened: Wembley Hill (called Wembley Stadium since 1987), Sudbury & Harrow Road and South Harrow.

In the five years up until the pandemic disruption (can't escape it can you, even in this game!), Lewisham had fairly consistent patronage of just over 10 million entries and exits per year.

According to ORR statistics, in 2019/20 Lewisham's usage was very similar to the figure for York.
