edit: wow that moved fast
West Ham, another station that interchanges with NR, LUL and DLR
Appleby - has a type of food in its name
Settle - also on the Settle - Carlisle line.
Beckfoot. Not quite at the end of a preserved railway.
Beckenham Junction - also has a "beck" in it!
Chirk - class 67 hauled trains call there
Westhoughton - both unstaffed in 1974, if that's too tough to follow on from then Strines is the same.
Eastbourne - both have a direction in their name.
Battersby - all through trains have to reverse there
Ely
IIRC XC serve both places
Lye - anagram of Ely
Stourbridge Junction - next station up.
We're back to Stourbridge!
Birmingham Moor Street!
Birmingham International - also a main station in Birmingham. Best I could think of again!
Lea Hall
Squires Gate
Starr Gate
