I've been advised (correctly!) that my post 17877 was incorrect, as although the Highland Chieftain does serve Falkirk Grahamstown, it doesn't serve Dundee!

Therefore, I'll withdraw that, and replace it with this:

West Kilbride station was also opened in 1878.

Apologies for the confusion!

Seamer is the penultimate station before arriving at Scarborough on the Hull to Scarborough Line, which is also known as the Yorkshire Coast Line. At the other end of this line, the penultimate station before arriving at Hull is Cottingham.

Carlton station has a PlusBus scheme where train and bus tickets can be bought together for a cheaper price. It is in the same area as Beeston, Bulwell, Netherfield and Nottingham stations.

The original station buildings at Abercynon have been demolished. This includes the original GWR signal box of 1932, which originally came from Birmingham Moor Street, which was demolished near the end of 2013.
