I don't know about that one, here at Norwich we have two routes out of the station (left of Crown Point towards coastal lines (Whitlingham) - right of Crown Point (over Trouse bridge) towards London and Ely) technically both routes are electrified (coastal direction is from Crown Point.)

sorry...

I mean four routes out before you come to the first station (Brundall, Salhouse, Diss, Attleborough, or Twyford, Earley, Reading West, Tilehurst). By your logic there is actually only one route out of Norwich station.

From Darlington:

Westbury - junction station where slow routes cross over the fast and the platforms are on a loop off the fast through line.

Glasgow Central - Glasgow being the birthplace of the much missed QE2, which was based at Southampton.

There I go again.
Clacton
Both Hastings and Clacton leant their name to a class of multiple unit.

Acton (any one you like). Both rhyme with Bacton (village in Norfolk).

New York is not in the UK though...

I say...

Carstairs - another Scottish WCML station with a very low service level.
