steam loco 44871 move from southall wcr to swanage - photos

    saw this today, rtt said it was a diesel loco moving empty coaching stock tho, nice surprise never the less, dont see many moves like that, same thing happening tomorrow as well apparently from butterly mrc to swanage, any ideas why?

    Steam gala at the Swanage Railway. Steam hauled moved always show as diesel on RTT.

    makes scene...well not the steam showing up as diesel but the gala part :lol:

    ill try a different vantage point as i nearly got surrounded by horses and cows at that one :lol:

    Realised what was going to happen re the stopper, over the footbridge and managed to get this. 1/400sec F4.5 ISO 1000, needed to be quite aggressive regarding noise reduction 10-11w.jpg

    I was on the stopper coming home from work, and hopped out of the last door just in time to swivel round and see this roar by. No time to grab my camera though.
