Recieved this email today from teh coventry railway centre:

I have just spoken to the owner of 50 040, Garcia Hanson.

As have been spoken about on many online forums and appeared in many railway
magazines, 50 040 is currently being stripped for spares by its Garcia and
his team, these parts are being used on Garcia's other class 50's and the
benefit of other groups class 50 locomotives on arrangement with Garcia.

However someone has stolen a oil pump from this locomotive. The oil pump is
a engine driven pump, which is located behind the water pump.

This theft is being taken very seriously, the police have been informed and
a private investigation is also taking place.

Anyone with any information is asked to please contact the Garica Hanson,
Hanson Traction at

[email protected] and Coventry Railway Centre at
[email protected]

Please help us by forwarding this message on to as many groups and forums as
possible so that this thief can be brought to account.

Thank You

Some people have got a fetish with steeling from loco's and it just makes me sick how those sad pathetic people go that low. It's lower than how "enthusiests" stand on seats and trash the place making a chow row!! Pricks! :x:x
