Structure gauging train north through MKC @ 1314.

DBSO in the lead with a 31 giving a shove from behind
--- old post above --- --- new post below ---
and now we have just had a very odd DRS 37/47/37 plus Anglia DVT combo head slowly north through MKC @ 14:30

On Saturday, a DRS Class 37 came through shortly before midday. Didn't catch what it was conveying.

There was also another vehicle of some kind spraying something onto the tracks just before this.

I'm afraid I can't give more details as I was on a very important phone call so didn't pay much attention.

the spraying thingy will have been an RHTT - it should have had 2x DBS class 66's in top and tail mode. I saw it about lunch time as i was waiting for my train at the Buzzard.
