I did a search but could not find any threads on the above Gala. This year's gala has an LMS flavour with 6201 Princess Elizabeth and 6233 Duchess of Sutherland both making return visits and the 1st visit of LNW 'Super D' 49395 which will be hauling both freight and passenger trains.
I downloaded a leaflet with details of the gala from http://www.svr.co.uk/cgi-bin/WebObje.../specialEvents but the information leaftet seems to have been taken of the website for an unkonwn reason. I will investigate when I go to help on Saturday.
I intend to go down on Friday and use First buses to get between the stations on the SVR and do some filming and take photographs. I will then travel back later on Friday to board the overnight service until the last train arrives at Kiddie at a quater to 8 on Sunday evening. Is anyone else intending on going?
