I imagine so. I expect it to match the existing SWR livery with the stripes etc. Although I'm curious about the front door, as on the SWR livery on all units at the moment, it is light grey to contrast with the dark grey vinyl at the front...
I think the front door will be vinylled to silver.

Must be a fully refurbished desiro out soon

Odd to have no photos anywhere of the full refit

Great job on the 185s

I thought it was Arlington Fleet based at Eastleigh depot. I’m sure someone can confirm either way shortly.

I apologise for the truly awful picture quality, but it appears that 159103 still has the ex-Anglia seating in first class! It's a shame they didn't keep this, as it seems to be much comfier than what they decided on.

Siemens. Arlington operates and leases the works from St Modwen, Siemens leases 2 roads within the works and this is where the Desiro overhauls are taking place. Kiepe is leasing one of the sheds around the back of the works for the 442 work (the former Electrical test sheds). Incidentally Wabtec's presence has been contract dependant over the last few years, having rented some roads for the FGW Class 143, 153 & 158 overhauls, then left, then returned briefly to the former Van shop for the Southern 455 work a few years ago.

Interesting and informative, thanks for that.

At this stage would it not be easier to state which units don’t have SWR branding? There can only be a couple with SWT branding left now.

Not for me, I rely on individual units to update the fleet list, so telling me which aren't done just adds an intermediate step. :)

So, on that bombshell, I make the following units out to still be in SWT branding (based on a lack of evidence to the contrary):
450569
450085
450090
450117
455702
455703
455720
455849

As to the details of new-interiored Desiros/Sprinters, I have no idea.

I thought all 455s were in SWR branding? Sure that's what someone quoted on here earlier on.

Further evidence to the 455s being (almost) all done; 455720 now has the stickers.
Incidentally, 450090 is now stickered too.
I haven't seen a 455 without SWR branding for months, unless there's a couple in a siding somewhere not being used and therefore still with SWT branding. Seeing as I usually see a unit in full SWR livery every day, any 455s with SWT branding can't be in active service.

On an internaly refurbed 450 woking to Wat this morning- [...] Plugs at each bay a welcome feature.
Saw the new mains sockets for the first time the other day, and was quite surprised how shoddily they've been fitted, with not-very-neatly cut bits of hardboard used as 'shims' behind and underneath them. I wouldn't be happy with workmanship like that in my house...
