Nice, it's good that SWR have now started to add the onboard Infotainment system to their trains. The reason the Wi-Fi isnt working on some trains is because it is currently being upgraded on the 444s/450s
Wi-fi seems to be not working on more 444/450s than it is working on at the moment, if my daily commute is anything to go by :(

SWR uniform to me blends in too much, with ordinary people. It's very poor.

I was boarding a train, and the guard popped out of the door next to me before the rest released, I was very confused until I realised he must be the guard!

What if you needed to find a member of staff? Just ask everyone who they work for until you get lucky?

The huge SWR logo on the back of the jacket is a giveaway.

I saw a 442 at Eastleigh in full SWR Livery but all it had for the seats was the hard plastic outline and no moquette or actual fabric on the seats. Didn't get a picture though as I thought that would be a little nosey ;)

I do agree, the uniform does blend in, but a whistle and the big SWR Logo on the back of the jacket does give it away. It looks also quite sleek and smart. Must be some more money SWR Are "investing" on the network...

Well few people bother with interior photos, and as they aren’t actually doing any external reliveries at the moment I think you’ll be disappointed...

Why not the outside, cant say so many 444 and 450s are refurbished if the outside is the same as before?

I feel like SWR is lagging behind on what they said they were doing to have done by the end of the year

The Desiros are currently only having an interior refurbishment, the exteriors will be repainted later this year. However, the 159s are undergoing exterior repaints at Loughborough, and 159004 is currently there

Shame they cant do both at the same time?? Guess it makes sense considering LNR/WMR did the exterior of their trains last year and have only just started interior refurbishment this year

When's 444 / 450 expected to be released from refurbishment?

I know it's bank holiday and it's just been Easter weekend.

Well that’s pretty obvious reading the last few months of this thread isn’t it? It’s been perfectly clear for around 6 months that interior and exterior work had been separated, and both programmes were seriously delayed compared to the dates in the franchise agreement.

Why did SWR change from doing the stripes livery to the stripeless livery? I do prefer the stripeless SWR livery to the vinyl one but I'm just curious to know why they changed the livery pattern.
