All I'll contribute here is that Reading - Brighton runs more often use a 450 than a 159. I should know, I've been on a good few of them!
Reading to Brighton are class 170s not 450s.
Basingstoke to Brighton are 450s.

Really? I wonder how there were people on that slammer already prior to it arriving into Basingstoke then...

I'll have to hunt down a Reading - Brighton service with SWT then when I next go there.

Were you in today then Joe?

Yup. Seems like a few things were out and about as well :(.

Has anybody got a rough idea of when the next move will be?

No such thing - so it can only be a two-hourly Reading - Brighton service.

All 24 442's are set to go to Ilford over an 18 month period, which means that one can go away for up to 6 weeks if they want to keep on schedule, although it is likely that they could run a week either side. Therefore 2401 is due back somewhere around the 18th of Feb, and it is likely the next 442 will go back the following day.

I'm not saying that is exactly when it will be (it is unlikely to run on a weekend anyway), that is what the Maths tell me; it may run on the Friday, it may run next week for all I know!

Right im sick and tired of this clag business. If the driver gives it a bit then fine wow you get a good pic! If not then don't come crying and complaining on here about it!!

5X43 0953 BM-ZI postponed until Monday 27/02. 2401 not back in traffic yet so
2407 needed in service.

Divide 78 weeks / 18 months by 6 and you get 13? At the current rate, 13 units will be overhauled in an 18month period. I have been on the look out for 2401 the past week and haven't seen it.
Also, so much for the units going to Ilford in numerical order, 2401 to 2407?

2401 still isn't back in traffic yet, should be along sometime this week.

And why would they go in numerical order? Did any other overhauls go in numerical order? E.g the MerseyRail 507/8s weren't in numerical order.

It was planned originally for 2402 to go next by SWT (so going in numerical order!)
