Sunday 10 July 2005 - Edwardian Day at Rothley

Step back in time to the early 1900s and experience the sights, sounds and smells of the period.

Join our period travellers and enjoy tea and cakes or pint of ale in this beautifully restored country station on Britain’s only mainline heritage steam railway.

See the re-creation of the life of a young lady porter at Rothley Station during the First World War, as all around people mingle in their Sunday best. The garden railway in the station yard, loved by children of all ages, will also be operating.

Join our travellers (in period costume if you wish) as we take a trip back in time.

Rothley Station will be open from 10.00am until 4.00pm
Platform Ticket £3.00 (includes a token worth £1 off food and drink)
... or travel by steam hauled train from any of the stations on the line
Day Runabout Ticket
Adult £11.00 · Concessions £7.50 · Family £27.50
