Hello guys, Does anyone knows how long one can stay in talent pool before being called, since i passed interview and assessment with GTR. i got this email from them, and please what is the next stage after this.

We would like to express our thanks to you for attending the assessment and interview for our Customer Service Staff vacancies.

I am pleased to inform you that you have been successful through the assessment and interview. Unfortunately, we currently do not have any suitable positions which we would be able to offer you immediately. I understand this might be disappointing for you; however please be assured that we will place you in our talent pool and we will contact you in the first instance should a suitable position become available.

In the mean time we would like to thank you for your time and effort in your application.

    Thank you.

Assessment is about rail assessment test, its no hard but limited time, you need to be fast with it. The interview is about competency interview, what you have done in the past related to customer services, in this one you will need an example of what you did not what the team or someone else did. Use STAR format.
    S- situation
    T- Task
    A- Action
    R- Result
Example: Tell me about when you have delivered an excellent customer service. When, what is the service, what was the outcome.

Annoyingly for this job, as I have already failed a trainee driver assessment earlier this year, was not permitted to proceed with my application. :s

What could be the reason for this?

Does anyone know what was the salary for this role? I think I saw maybe 17-18k but then I heard from somewhere that this was pro rata part time and the full time would be more. Anyone?

Just by chance when was your assessment for that role? I attended an assessment on the 3/9/15 at east Croydon.
