In conjunction with the West Somerset Steam Gala to be held over the weekend of 7/8 October 2006, First Great Western will be operating a four car Class 158 shuttle between Taunton and Bishops Lydeard on both days. The fare for the journey is just £5 return.
First Great Western have indicated that is the service is well used, shuttle services will be considered for other events, if however the service is not used then it unlikely to be repeated.
