Monday, 11.05am: A teenager has died after being struck by a train on a level crossing near Peterborough.
Magpas Helimedix were called to a level crossing near Holme yesterday evening following reports that a man had been struck by a train.
Officers from British Transport Police, Cambridgeshire Constabulary and the East on England Ambulance Service also attended the incident, which was reported to police at 9.31pm.
A teenage male, believed to be aged 18 and from Peterborough, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are treating the death as non-suspicious.
