It is conventional interoperable but not core conventional. Here is the Dft map which has not yet been updated although I can see very little difference

Edit: Just read the differences and the core network is the only one available for EU funding, interesting to see Stranraer line as core considering it is a rural line in doubt when the ferry terminal closed.
