@Aaron24Do we knows what's working the Holyhead pls? A unit I'm guessing.
1W61 67016I was more thinking of actual plans rather than people guessing if I'm honest.
Yes now planned for 1W96 and 1V91 tomorrow to be substituted. 67015 will head down to Holyhead tomorrow and collect the whole rake and drag it back to Crewe.1W61 67016

The current plan to get things heading back for tomorrow:
HD01+67017 1V31 1W55 1V42 1W96
HD02+67020 1V33 1W59 1V50
HD03+67022+67015 ECS Holyhead to Crewe ATC
67029+HD04 1W13 1V39 1W63 then ECS Man Pic to Crewe ETD for tyre turning
67016+HD06 1W57 1V46 1W65
67013+HD07 ECS Crewe ETD to ATC.
It's the intention to go late afternoon/early evening I believe but its also reliant on getting spare Crew to do the prep at Holyhead and also getting HD07 off Crewe ETD and getting HD04 onto ETD before it can guaranteed to avoid overloading Crewe ATC with sets. If all those can be lined up it will go today, if they don't then it will head across tomorrow morning.@sd0733
Morning
The path is in today for 67025 light loco from Crewe to Holyhead - but there is nothing in for the return back to Crewe with 67022 and the set.
Is the return still planned for today?
Thank you
Dave

Looks like the pair of 158s on IV37 was swapped at Shrewsbury for a 2 car 197 to ensure the 158s go back onto the correct routes (i.e Birmingham/Cambrian.)1W11/1V37 looks to be a 4 car 158 today, which will have been a relief to Manchester commuters this morning.
I’m sure that was a joyous experience for everyone…Looks like the pair of 158s on IV37 was swapped at Shrewsbury for a 2 car 197 to ensure the 158s go back onto the correct routes (i.e Birmingham/Cambrian.)

My colleague is currently a two car train, standing all the way back from Manchester to Cardiff. I doubt she'll ever want to take the train to a meeting in Manchester ever again. I've not read all 49 pages of this thread so don't know the ins and outs of it but it feels like this saga has been going on forever.
Should be going onto HD05 tomorrow.67008 has had a test run

Damn. My fingers are heavily crossed that the 1653 is one of those blessed with a MkIV…Poor again tomorrow with only 3 sets (HD01/02/06) available.
Showing as 197121, knowing TfW the other unit diagram will be 1V50's diagram...Damn. My fingers are heavily crossed that the 1653 is one of those blessed with a MkIV…
No, unfortunately notDamn. My fingers are heavily crossed that the 1653 is one of those blessed with a MkIV…
V50 is planned a unit. It goes onto the W13 diagram so it goes to Holyhead otherwise nothing finishes there. If all goes as planned a set can swap into one of the Cardiff start diagrams at Crewe on Friday.Showing as 197121, knowing TfW the other unit diagram will be 1V50's diagram...
Although now that I look at it: since both HD03 and 07 are expected off Crewe on Friday, I believe 1V50 might actually be a set, for once...
This is very sad! I will stock up on snacks, prepare for a crap journey, and presumably get ready for some cash back from TfW for a first class ticket unused. First time I’ve been let down by a MkIV in over a year. No, unfortunately not

Shame.. would've been nice to have a small journey on a set tomorrow. It's not the end of the world as it's such a small journey, thanks though!V50 is planned a unit. Statistically that is extremely lucky! This is very sad! I will stock up on snacks, prepare for a crap journey, and presumably get ready for some cash back from TfW for a first class ticket unused. First time I’ve been let down by a MkIV in over a year.
You’ve been very lucky then!
I know, but Sod’s Law the first time I travel with my family after nearly two years of banging on about how great it is…Statistically that is extremely lucky!
