Hello! I'm on late shifts at work next week so will be getting myself a 7 day Thames Rover to commute in to London (excellent value with a railcard!). At the weekend I'm plotting a trip to Bath. Just wondering about the use of trains that don't stop at Didcot?

If I buy an Off-Peak Day Return from Didcot to Bath do I have to use an HST from Reading that stops at Didcot? Apologies this is probably a fairly basic questions, but I'm unsure with a rover.

Thanks in advance!

In combination with a Thames Rover, the train does not have to stop at Didcot.

If you look at point 1.6.2.3 here, you'll find the details on why it's valid to split tickets without stopping.

Drifting off the point a little, I find it odd that a Thames Rover is apparently not valid on the Waterloo route to Reading - the route follows the Thames more closely than the GWR route.
