There seems to be no public transportation at Hammerfest airport. so we have to fly on - or back

I'm giving up for the night as I'm getting inconsistent results

Brain - sort of - working again

Mehamn airport also seems to lack public transportation. Aside from, obviously, planes.

We have a long wait until our next flight, which is even shorter than the previous ones. WF937 which is the 18:05 departure to Honningsvåg, Norway, arriving at 18:25 on Monday evening.

We'd like to stay on our warm Dash 8, but the pilot exits the cockpit and tells us to gå av flyet mitt. So, we end up sleeping in the departures lounge awaiting the next flight out of here. This next flight manifests itself as Wideroe flight 933 back to Hammerfest, NOR. It leaves at 0642 and touches down at 0707 Tuesday morning.

We head back to an airport with hopefully a bit more to offer than an aerial tour of the Arctic Circle (not that I'm complaining about the views, just the options available to us!)

We head onto WF903 back to Tromsø Airport, which leaves at 09:08 and touches down at 09:50 on Tuesday morning.

That's only leaving seven minutes at Japan's busiest railway station, could be tight.

We then board the 2040 Shinkansen Hayabusa service 96 to Sendai (Miyagi), arriving there at 2301 on Thursday evening.

There seems to be no more trains tonight, so we catch an early departure out in the morning, the JR Sensiki line local at 0502, riding to the coast at Ishinomaki and arriving at 0627 Friday morning

Hyperdia again

I did wonder about that connection - but only after the event when it was too late to easily change it.

This being a major transit hub, I'm going to allow ten minutes to get to the subway, in the absence of an actual minimum connection time.

So we get to the Subway platforms in time for the 19:43 Subway train on the Airport Line which takes us the short journey to Fukuoka Airport (FUK), arriving there at 19:49 on Friday evening.
