Well over 24hrs without a guess at this journey on an often-overlooked corner of the rail network, so I'll post hints and a new clue....

1.This journey runs Monday to Friday only.
2. Origin station has 4 platforms.
3. Destination station has 3 platforms.
4. The EMU working this journey was built at Derby Litchurch Lane Works.

5. Journey duration is around 30 minutes.

London Fenchurch Street to Grays (357)?
FST to GRY trains run 7 days a week so not that one. You are, however, in the right "often overlooked" corner of the country.

Thanks :)

1) This service starts at a terminus station
2) The destination has one platform
3) The service calls at exactly one DfT Category C1 station
4) The traction does not operate in Scotland

1. Both origin and destination have an odd number of platforms
2. The service has more than 1 request stop en-route
3. The service is timed for a Sprinter
4. The destination is a dead end terminus
