Nice video Jordy. Was a good journey down via Havant on Saturday! You should upload the clip of the guard who's accent went from Scottish to Geordie to Southern to Welsh then to West Country every other sentence :D

great video there,

was on that line earlier on in the day- however only took it from brockenhurst to lymington town and waited for it to turn round at lymington pier, then went back to brockenhurst

That is bollocks, probably cause the only leccy unit you've ever been on is crappy 321.

If you were around when things were decent, you would know that old units do make sound. . . old AC units (304,5,8 etc) made a very distinctive sound, slammers make loud sounds as well. . . you can hear the traction motors working, and as Jordy said, 442's have REP traction motors - which you can definately hear when you are in the motor coaches. Then with dmu's, in terms of noise-- what can beat a 101?!

Modern emus also make sound like 323s and desiros etc :-P
