I Have a Girlfriend who lives in Oakdale, while up there we walked past where the old colliery used to be which got me thinking, at some point, there must have been a railway line feeding the colliery.
Basically Im just curious about the history of the line, if anyone has any photos etc.
I traced the line along google maps, and just past the bridge that took it over the main road and the Ebbw Vale Branch at Crosskeys, I Found what I believe to be the only surviving piece of Track from the Branch Line? If i'm Wrong excuse me.
