Does anyone think the service has got any better since the timetbale change? My view it has improved ever so slightly. Staff morale is still rock bottom mind.

there is still a lot of odd late running (<10 mins) and strange short forms but fewer cancellations. This is anecdotal of course.
RT performance is still dire in both peaks. There are trains that haven’t managed to keep time since May.

Since the timetable change, the 1649 (old 1650) from Euston is now formed of 4 cars. Ludicrous that a peak service has 4 cars. Absolutely rammed all the time it is and on Tuesday 21st Jan, the service was taken off the board in the main concourse more than 5 mins before departure and the doors locked closed, so no one else could try to board. This might be protocol but it's no good for paying customers. Needless to say the punctuality stats for this service are woeful. You cram that many people on to 4 cars and try to get them off at each stop and see what happens.

As an aside, is there anywhere we can see if services were short formed and how frequently this happens? My wife was on the 1821 from Euston on Wednesday and it was only 4 cars. She said it was feral on the platform and unfortunately through no fault of their own, the staff are bearing the brunt of customers' anger.
