We then board the 1946 Arriva North East 'Sapphire' service X21 to Bridlington (Red Lion), arriving there at 2007 on Monday evening.

It is quite some distance from Ashington to Bridlington, so even if the "Sapphire" bus on the X21 route has special booster power, I very much doubt that such a journey could be made in only 21 minutes.

Oh sorry, its supposed to be Bedlington. The autocorrect on my new phone is most annoying.

I've since corrected my original post.

Where along Southwood Road are we? It's quite a long road.

Having looked at the timetable for Paul's move the corresponding service in the timetable is 21:10 from Warrington Interchange to arrive Newton-Le-Willows Railway Station 21:28

Did my posting say Southworth Road, not Southwood Road?

Yes. A typo on my part but we remain in the same position.

Having looked at the timetable for Paul's move the corresponding service in the timetable is 21:10 from Warrington Interchange to arrive Newton-Le-Willows Railway Station 21:28

Thank you for this.

We enter the station and then board the 2158 Northern service 2J22 to Eccles, arriving there at 2211 on Tuesday evening.

Gameplay
  • So the game remains realistic, you should use the current timetable for the relevant day not including timetable variations for engineering works.

I note this extract from the quiz rules section covers the actual real-life scenario of what is happening at Liverpool Lime Street railway station.
