Fancying a few pints in the more colourful pubs in the Birmingham suburbs and a bit of Karaoke, we then wait for 1959 NXWM Service 96 to Erdington (Fire Station), arriving at 2019 on Saturday Evening.

We next board the 1829 Diamond Bus service 50 to Digbeth (Selfridges stop MS2 on Moor Street) that arrives there at 1852 on Saturday evening.

We then dash accross the road to catch the 1858 NXWM Service 97 to Chelmsley Wood Interchange, arriving at 1939 on Saturday evening.

Apologies for my error

That appears to be it for the evening, and I cannot find many services that run early on a Sunday morning, so we stop off overnight and take the eleven minute/0.5 mile walk to the railway station, where we board the 0919 CrossCountry service 1S37 to Leeds, arriving there at 1100 on Sunday morning.

There being a distinct lack of Sunday bus services around these parts, after a pint and lunch in the Midland Hotel it's back to the station for the 14:26 Northern train service to Carlisle where we arrive at 15:11 on Sunday afternoon.

Taking into account the fifteen minute minimum connection time here at Glasgow Central, we then exit the station to the bus stops on Hope Street, where we board the 1729 First Glasgow SimpliCITY service 38 to Easterhouse (Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre), arriving there at 1806 on Sunday evening.

From what I remembered about Easterhouse many years ago when I last went there, these were not fond memories....

We next board the 1814 First Glasgow service 46 to Castlemilk (the bus stop opposite Viewgreen Court on Ardencraig Road) that arrives there at 1937 on Sunday evening.

The departure time from Glasgow Fort is 1820 on that service and also the arrival stop is Viewglen Court, but it doesn't make a difference to the timings of the post.

Anyway, we then board the 2001 First Glasgow SimpliCITY service 34A to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, arriving there at 2042 on Sunday evening.

That's the end of Sunday service. We stay overnight and return to the nearby bus stop (Station opp) to board the 06:57 First Scotland East route X10 service to Balfron, Clinic, arriving there at 07:32 on a Monday.

There are some schooldays-only services here, but the best plan seems to be to catch the next First Scotland East X10 service at 07:40* which will take us to Stirling Bus Station (Stance 11) where we arrive at 08:25 on Monday.

* there is a split in the service here at this time, so it isn't a case of reboarding the same bus. Hope that's OK.
