We take advantage of catching a couple of hours sleep before walking the 600 yards to Manchester Coach Station and boarding the 04:30 National Express service 920 to Cairnryan (Stena Terminal) where we arrive at 10:25 on Sunday morning.

Didn't realise there were coaches going from Piccadilly station? ;)

Sadly we can't continue onto Belfast, so we board the 10:40 Scottish Citylink route 923 service to Stranraer, Port Rodie, arriving there at 11:05 on a Sunday.

We then board the 1230 Stagecoach West Scotland service 500 to Dumfries (Railway Station), arriving there at 1451 on Sunday afternoon.

The most ridiculous service levels exist here so we have quite a long wait until the 1552 ScotRail service 1T99 to Dunblane, arriving there at 1724 on Monday afternoon.
