Im new to the Forum but some of the more "interested" guards I know have a bit of a game going with their handheld machines to pass the time on PNB/Spare etc.
Basically, you pick a restriction code like, for example, B1, and you have to find a ticket that has that restriction, (B1 - Cheap Day Return for Edinburgh to Carlisle).
So using this as the reference for restrictions
I will start of with restriction SM
Outward Travel
Valid on services due to arrive into London after 1120 Mondays-Fridays.
Return Travel
By any train
(btw I don't know the answer, that's why it gets hard!) Whoever gets it first, gets the next go etc).
