Hi everyone,

I am looking for a ticket that I can use to Marple and return from rose hill marple, is a ticket to marple valid for return from rose hill marple?

A Greater Manchester Rail Ranger would be valid outside peak times.

No, but the guard is likely to accept it and neither is barriered. Worst case from either (unless you're very unlucky and picky RPIs board) is that you get charged a single to Romiley if you ask them before you board.

Or if your journey is entirely within GM, buy a GM Rail Ranger. Doesn't cost much more than the longer distance intra-GM off peak day returns.

If travelling from a Manchester Metrolink station, a multi mode tram/train ticket to destination 'GM Railzone 2' would cover both Marple and Rose Hill Marple heavy rail stations.

planning to buy ticket on smartphone. can I buy gm rail ranger on smartphone?

If travelling from a Manchester Metrolink station, a multi mode tram/train ticket to destination 'GM Railzone 2' would cover both Marple and Rose Hill Marple heavy rail stations.
