Time Restrictions on return portion of LM Super-Off Peak?

Planning a trip to London in next 2 weeks or so, using the LM Crewe-Euston service. I'm thinking of buying the £13.20 super-off peak fare (£20 fare with YP discount) and want to know what return services it is valid on? Terms simply say "Valid on off peak services by the route and Train operator shown. Return travel any day within 1 month. Return travel any day within 1 month". Are all LM Euston-Crewe services after 10am allowed or does an afternoon peak restriction apply? There has to be a catch surely, as £13.20 Open Rtn to London seems too good to be true... (I'm a student so 3hrs 30 on a train isn't a hardship, even on a 350/2!)

MONDAYS to FRIDAYS: Not valid for travel on London Midland services timed to DEPART any station between 1630 and 1930 in either direction unless a connecting service is being used to complete a journey begun at a valid time.

It generally shows online as being invalid for journeys with a connection that leaves between 1630 and 1930, but this is a mistake.
