Just seen it on the Penzance webcam , whilst watching the 20:00 Penzance to Plymouth fly out of the station.

Yep, just had a look on the Nat website. FGW says:

22:00 Penzance to London Paddington due 05:11

This train will be delayed and is expected to be 60 minutes late.
This is due to earlier signalling problems at Maidenhead.

Departed 57 down, expected to arrive Paddington 17 up and on time by Reading

The Beds departed 53 late due to late inward crew on 1c89 being delayed by signalling problems at Maidenhead,.

These problems where actually caused by:

It was actually an airfield fault, well sort of. Waltham airfield have a button in the control tower which is to turn all signals to red in case a plane crashes on the line. Nobody pushed the button/switch, but somewhere between that and the railway something did turn all the signals red.

Whoops is all i can say!

So that explains that!
