My 7 year old son reported seeing a yellow Network Rail train "with three or four carriages and a blue engine" at Epsom today 5th September and he would like to know the numbers including the carriages, please, as he didn't have any paper to hand!

He didn't say the time but he is walked to and from school by my wife and would have passed the station at about 08.35 and 15.10, give or take a few minutes.

FL Heavy Haul coal empties (Rugeley - Portbury or similar?) south through Nantwich today (Sat 6th) about 1545.

Would be grateful for id of 66 at head - and consist would be a bonus!

TIA

Thanks

22:07 FGW service from Basingstoke to reading, was it one of the 150/0s on a weekend trip (the lights/doors didn't look like a 165, but it was pulling out when the Yeovil bound service was coming in so it was only a passing glance)

Been a while now, but if anyone could confirm what Voyager (220 I think) was working 1S56 1606 Oxford to Edinburgh on 17th August 2014 that would be much appreciated - set appeared to of lost its number in the usual place!

Don't forget the Voyager numbers are moving, albeit at a slow pace, from the placement by Virgin on the skirts to up near the driver's doors. I believe this happens when the Voyagers arrive at Central Rivers for a certain exam, but which exam I don't know. I think all the Virgin ones have been done, XC's fleet is still catching up.

Of course, there's still coach numbers both by the passenger doors and in the vestibules on Voyagers ;)

Thank you - the locomotive liveries match as one of those is yellow and the other blue; does anyone have the carriages as well please?

This may help, the coaching stock on yesterdays test train move from Hither Green to Doncaster (onward to Derby today), using 73119+73201 and 73138, was reported to have coaching stock 1256, 999550 and 6261 in consist.

I'm not too sure as to whether this is just the 221s. The 220s still have their's on the skirts.

Once of my friends down the station told me that when XC finish redoing the buffer beams and number on the 221s they will start on the 220s.

66087 was shown on TOPS at Doncaster on Monday morning,
and then worked 6O01 to Eastleigh.

So either TOPS is wrong (not unusual, unfortunately!),
or you saw a different 66 - can you recheck the photo?
