Adding to it, what was it doing there, I thought there were unit shortages for DMU on SWT?

GWR have been using a SWT 158 Modays to Saturdays for the last 5 or 6 years now. Rather than call it a lease, a SWT 158 attaches over from Salisbury to Westbury in the morning and back at night to work a GWR Diagram. DFT initiative

Hi all,

I have a couple of queries on my trip last Thursday 4th May 2017.

Can anyone confirm the following.

1T15 Marylebone to Oxford. I have 168103 and 168104 written down. Is this correct?

2C23 Aylesbury to Marylebone as 168017 ?

1Y16 Oxford to Marylebone as 168328 ?

Can anyone confirm these please.

Any of these renumbered units?

Thanks in advance.

Near a bunch of sheds that aren't 66s.
I'm really sorry - I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this in. I've had a Network Rail data feed account but I don't know how to obtain the TRUST data? Is there anyone that can help? Many thanks in advance (and sorry if this isn't the right thread).

Hi all,

I have a couple of queries on my trip last Thursday 4th May 2017.

Can anyone confirm the following.

1T15 Marylebone to Oxford. I have 168103 and 168104 written down. Is this correct? They were in fact 172s; but they were 172103 & 104 yes.

2C23 Aylesbury to Marylebone as 168017 ? - 165036 & 165017 - so not even close I'm afraid. However; and this may answer your question; 168107 (there is no 017) was on 1Y23 08:40 Oxford - Marylebone; which would have arrived at Marylebone around 10 minutes before 2C23

1Y16 Oxford to Marylebone as 168328 ? 328 was at the tail; it was attached to 323 & 217. 328 & 323 were the erstwhile 170308 & 303

Can anyone confirm these please.

Any of these renumbered units?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure exactly what 'TRUST data' you are after, but please bear in mind:

a) the open data feeds only contain train running information,
similar to that shown on RTT - the data does not include any
loco/unit allocations even though such information is shown
on a 'real' TRUST terminal.

b) to process the feeds, you will need pretty good coding skills
to be able to set up a combination of script(s) and databases
which can decode, sort and store the vast amount of data
transmitted on the feeds each day.

If you still feel like having a crack at it, lots of info
can be found here:

The 950 is in Scotland this week, but all moves are evening/overnight:

Monday: Carlisle to Mossend via East Kilbride and Neilston
Tuesday: Mossend to Mossend via Glasgow Central and the Cathcart loop
Wednesday: Mossend to Oban
Thursday: Oban to Fort William
Friday: Fort William to Mallaig and return

Your only real chance to see it in daylight is tomorrow evening (Monday)
when it heads to East Kilbride, as follows:

...
Carstairs 1815
Lanark Jn 1820
Law Jn 1832
Shieldmuir 1835
Motherwell 1837
Mossend South Jn 1840
Mossend West Jn 1840-1848
Uddingston Jn 1853
Newton East Jn 1855
Newton West Jn 1858
Rutherglen East Jn 1900
Shawfield 1901
Larkfield Jn 1904
Muirhouse South Jn 1906-1926
Busby Jn 1932
Busby 1944-1949
Hairmyres Loop 1955-2001
East Kilbride 2004-2009
Hairmyres Loop 2012-2020
...

hope this helps,
