Hi. There were two 397's nose to tail alongside the mainline to the south of LNWR when I passed in the dark yesterday. I believe one to be 397010 but can anyone please confirm their id's? TIA Simon

Wrong way round!

2N40 is the 14.27 but its Paddington - Didcot! (2Nxx Pad - Did / 2Pxx Did - Pad).

Anyhoo it was 387162 :D

Mystery Up train through Hamworthy at c.12.12 today (Fri 6th) worked by 444033.

Does anyone know what this service was please - it ran between 1W58 and 0Z36? There were signalling problems in the area so it might've been a VST ECS working to get the timetable back on track.

Hello,

What traction is typically booked on Saturdays for the 0640 Penzance - Cardiff Central (2U12), and the return working at 1300 (2C77)? Realtime Trains suggests it's timed for a 158/168 or similar.

Can anyone confirm the loco on 1100 0Z58 Leicester LIP to Knighton Jct Sdgs and 1255 6Z58 return, assume it to be 56091 or maybe 56103 had a run out

Between 1W58 and 0Z36 were 1W51 and 5B47. 5B47 was an ECS working from Bournemouth to Poole.

HST GT1 Castle

Never take too much notice of the Timing Load as this is the set of timings used not what is actually diagrammed to work it. As long they are compatible with the requirements of the train.

Please could someone tell me which routes 158 816 has been working on this week?

I'm pondering going after it for a photo on Monday ( my only remaining 158 for photo ) but I'll have to make an educated guess on where to aim for as I'll probably have to buy my ticket on Sunday...

(The timing info is just why I came here to ask: last time I travelled that way it was still operated by - and timed for - 150s.)
