Extending to Borough Councils/Unitary Authorities is a little dodgy.*
Gateshead is an odd one: excluding those around the edge of Gateshead Borough, it has three - Dunston, MetroCentre and Heworth - but none serving the town centre!
*but if we're doing that then Barrow-in-Furness has 4: Dalton, Roose, Barrow, Askam
I was really meaning stations within a town, opposed to including stations in a village outside a town just because it's within the same unitary authority.
If you use parliamentary constituencies Stocksmoor would be included as a Wakefield station, despite being closer to Huddersfield and having a Huddersfield postcode.
