Apologies if I'm asking something that's obvious, but are these workings just for the Monday, or continuing all week?
397012 heading to MID behind 57305... Not going Crewe now.397012 currently on delivery to Crewe CS.

Currently sat at Stafford in its protective wrap en route, sandwiched between 57305, 47815 and the usual cavalcade of brake force runners:397012 currently on delivery to Crewe CS.

397009 & 397010I saw this go through Lancaster today. Two 397s, going quickly on the through (non platform) up line, both with pans up and apparently (sparks) drawing power.
E&OE, my real trainspotting days are over, certainly couldn't read numbers.
Do you think enough Class 397's will be in service in time for the Class 350 handover to LNWR

I like a good reminder... Is there anything happening today at Liverpool? Besides the 4 diagrams for the 802?22nd of November... Keep that in your diary...
Clue: It's not the date for passenger service...
I believe, although do not quote me; this is speaking from what I remember someone posting on here - today a photoshoot of all three Nova types positioned next to each other is supposed to happen.I like a good reminder... At the seating plans for NOVA 2 available on the TPE website, with a short summary:

I believe there were plans for a press/media launch of Nova trains in Liverpool.
No idea if it is still happening. Invite only I heard.
Two of three @TPExpressTrains Nova fleets. A @CAFRail_UK 397 and an @HitachiRailEU 802.! https://t.co/nhFlOBQqkJ
They do look good, don't they? I can vividly remember how completely underwhelmed I was by the introduction of Class 185s (me on first Cl.185 journey: "Oh, it's full already? and I've got to wear an extra layer because doors in the saloon?"). These make me want to travel by train for train travel's sake.
Meanwhile on the Portsmouth to Cardiff line..For the only bit of TPE that is truly InterCity (the rest of it is really a jumped-up regional express no different from the "Northern Connect" routes), they are an excellent fit.
Saw an item on BBC1 North West Today at lunchtime ;I assume it be be on tonight's programme , also on iPlayer .

Looks like it will be. Mentioned it during the intro.
Edit: The report mostly featured NOVA 3, and focused mostly about how they should've been in service earlier this year.

Cab picture of the 397
There's plenty of other pictures on Richard's Twitter
From the photo the cab looks not too bad, but where's the cup holder for my brew!
Hope the guard still retains full door closure control on the Class 397.
