Apologies if this has been asked previously but searched and can't find anything.
Has anyone travelled 1st. Class on these services since the 350s took over, apart from tea/coffee is perhaps a sandwich or snackbox offered or just biscuits etc. finally is the 12:00 Manchester Airport -Edinburgh (Mon-Fri) a 350 or could it be a 185?

There's no guarantee a 185 won't appear on any Scottish service as TPE don't have an ample supply of EMUs.

I also think there's still one booked 185 diagram on Friday/Saturdays to allow some of the busier services to be 8 car 350s instead of 4 car 350s.

12:00 Manchester Airport to Edinburgh is booked to be a 350 all week and is an 8 coach train on Monday and Fridays. On Fridays a single 185 is booked on one of the Glasgow diagrams and a 6 coach 185 is on one of the Edinburgh diagrams.

TPE's 350's arent the most reliable, so often a 185 deputises leading to a short formation on the north route, usually 14:50 SCA-LIV (3vice 6 from Leeds)

A complimentary snack box is usually available to First Class ticket holders, in addition to at least one tea, coffee or water (often two if you're making the full journey). It isn't exactly big though, so take a sandwich or something if you are on for 3 hours and haven't eaten :)

That hasn't been the case in the last few months at least. The 350s have generally settled down with 185 substitutions become relatively rare these days.
