Set 02 currently being dragged back from Gascoigne Woods to Longsight behind ROG 47812. Should be nearly there now as passed Ashton Moss 10mins ago.

I've been out of this for a while. Are these still going to run to Middlesbrough?
Yes, the issue appears to be driver training, the focus has been on Scarborough services. Currently driver training on all TOCs is suspended due to COVID-19 however as I understand from others on this forum this may be relaxed soon. Would expect training to start for Middlesbrough services soon after.

Unlikely all have been used. Sadly despite been 27 months since the first arrived and a year since they first entered service only max 4 been used, with less now. Its been months since all 397 and 802 been accepted with lot more used daily. Maybe 7 or 8 been used.

Are there enough 185s to render everything 6-car? Not so bad if so. There weren't many sets out anyway.
Fair enough, would have thought if it was serious enough to ground them, that would do it straightaway.
Are Caledonian Sleeper affected do we know?

The sleeper still appears to be running tonight, so it doesn’t seem the sleeper mark 5s are affected by this

The knocks and bangs coming from the bogies on some sets are worrying. How on earth they've been accepted into service I don't know.

definitely running through to their destinations in passenger service.
Fingers crossed the grounding is a precautionary measure and the Nova 3 sets will be back in traffic soon.
As I understand it there is a problem with the DT on the Nova 3 sets.
