thanks! They sure were! Up to and including 68025 were built and badged Vossloh. The remainder are Stadler (from works number 2944).
I see now, thanks for the info! Some amazing photography in here too as alwaysThere’s a little detailed difference on the front end. On the Vossloh locos there’s their logo moulded into the front end between the headlights, on the Stadler ones this is absent. Pic below of 68032 ‘Destroyer’ passing the new pedestrian part of Scarborough Bridge York. If you compare it with Andy’s excellent image of 68020 I think you’ll spot what I mean! Hope that helps

Someone previously mentioned the next testing on Tuesday, any guesses on any of the movements? Any tests on the core route?
If it’s any help, the York to Scarborough light loco runs work most days. Here’s a summary of last weeks workings:Someone previously mentioned the next testing on Tuesday, any guesses on any of the movements? Any tests on the core route?
Lovely image, I really like how you’ve caught the light.centaur was parked up in York yesterday

Fantastic images, Tom, thanks for sharing. The 68 certainly looks very ‘meaty’! Just ‘DT’ I think is the official designation, but I’m happy (as always!) to be correctedTwo fairly rushed shots from Heald Green last week - note the unusual destination on the DTSO (I think it's designated as??):

Believe they are only going as far as Redcar Central and with the longer layovers at that end and the Airport end 7 sets will be required so 2 diagrams will continue as 185's.Subject to testing (continued set handover to TPE), every train on LIV-SCA route (7 sets) should be loco hauled by Halloween. Then the MIA-MBR route should start to see them.
If the plan to change ends at Saltburn at certain times of day doesn't change however, there will still be a 185 diagram on the Middlesbrough route which will be formed of a 6 car 185.

Was aware of the Saltburn plan however it appears there isn’t enough time to get there and back now, wasn’t the Saltburn plan mentioned before it was found that the Boro & Newcastle paths need swapping to enable the longer turn around times at Manchester Airport? It looks like Redcar is as far as they can go with up to 20 minute turnarounds.Instructors are learning the full route to Saltburn as plans are still not finalised. The problem for TPE is that they have already committed to serving Saltburn which the local council and media have picked up on:
"A direct train from Saltburn to Manchester has been given the green light to begin running in December 2019...
... lengthy meetings with rail bosses, the panel of northern political leaders found time to agree a TransPennine Express (TPE) service should run all the way to the East Cleveland Coast."

Plans seem to change constantly, I think current thinking is Redcar but the instructors are learning Saltburn to cover all bases. Was aware of the Saltburn plan however it appears there isn’t enough time to get there and back now, wasn’t the Saltburn plan mentioned before it was found that the Boro & Newcastle paths need swapping to enable the longer turn around times as Manchester Airport? Nope. Please tell me some kind of cover is going to be fitted to the Mk5 DT to cover that mess below the headlights?
Every went fine with the run today, hopefully only two more to go for Set 6I notice the MID-Carlisle ran this morning, followed by the 08:12 Carlisle to Bletchley. No record on RTT though beyond Winsford

I’m sure that’s more likely just a glitch on RTT, but does anyone know?
Thanks for that, greatly appreciatedEvery went fine with the run today, hopefully only two more to go for Set 6
