sjpowermac any chance when you do your round up you could add which sets have been accepted by TPE please?
Would save trawling through hundreds of messages.

Sets 4, 6, 9 & 11 have been accepted so far

I had just been thinking the same thing!
Here are the dates as I have them (all thanks to @Erniescooper being so kind with his posts)

Nova 3 sets accepted
TP09 12.04.2019
TP06 15.05.2019
TP04 04.07.2019
TP11 11.07.2019

And here are the deliveries so far together with the traction:
Nova 3 sets arrivals
TP02 25.05.2018 37611/884
TP03 15.06.2018 47813/812
TP04 17.07.2018 47812
TP01 27.07.2018 57303/47812*
TP05 11.09.2018 47812
TP06 02.10.2018 47812
TP09 15.11.2018 57305
TP11 03.06.2019 37611
TP07 26.06.2019 37611
TP12 due 16.07.2019

Still to be delivered TP08/10/13 plus spare DT.

*All deliveries via-Portbury except TP01 which came on Holyhead Anglesey Aluminium-MID having arrived at Immingham the previous week after testing at Velim, Czech Republic.

If anyone has any corrections, please let me know:)

Thank you, once again, very much for your summaries "sjpowermac" they are very useful. I can confirm TP06 was accepted on 15.05.19. The pattern seems to be roughly one per month, with TP04 being late perhaps due to additional tests to solve the software issue which caused driver training to be paused?

I hope you're keeping all this info somewhere safe - there's a book, or at least a magazine article there.

I wish we had someone this dedicated with access to that sort of information down in this neck of the woods, would be great to keep tabs on our new fleet introductions. Some sterling work there.

Thank you very much for confirming TP06, the (?) now removed from that one!

I agree with you about TP04, that one certainly put in a lot of miles.

What’s great to see is TP11 delivered and then even after waiting its turn for FFR accepted in under six weeks. Let’s hope that’s a sign of things to come.

Feeling a bit of a ‘magpie’; most of the info was here on the forum already, courtesy of @Erniescooper for the TPE acceptance dates, @SP Man and @68011 for workings and @mikemcniven for the deliveries. The locos delivering the stock took a bit of research, mainly on Flickr/YouTube!

Thanks very much
My pleasure. I think we are really fortunate on this thread to have so many people, yourself included, who contribute in such a positive way. I’ve got no ‘inside’ info myself, so if people find the summaries helpful then I’m delighted:)

So, what is the current plan for the Middlesbrough trains? I understand they currently share stock with the Newcastle diagram. The plan was to use Mk5as to Middlesbrough, and 802s to Newcastle, using extra capacity gained at Manchester with the May 2018 timetable change. We all know how that turned out!
So, will any new trains come to Middlesbrough now?

It has been reported on another thread that the southbound Middlesbrough to Airport and Newcastle to Airport services will swap paths from the December timetable change. That will separate the diagrams and enable different stock to be used on these two routes.

However, the new trains are too long to share platforms at Manchester Airport, like the 185s do currently. This is likely to cause timetabling issues.

0P68/0M68 has run each day this week. On Monday there was a transfer move, 68023 came to York to swap with 68032 for the York driver refresher turns.

I think Tue/Weds 0P68/0M68 have been used as driver refresher turns for Manchester drivers, their usual trips to Wavertree Junction being used for driver instructors on 68028 plus TP04.

Fingers crossed for 5M68 on Friday, that would be the first TPE operated Nova 3 over the Pennines:)

There's a Mk.5 set covered in plastic wrap on the western side of the main line at Longsight- not sure if this is Longsite International or not! Just passed through on a rather late TPE 185 (off topic- but I do like their new interiors! Very smart, although not sure cloth is the best idea).

That'll be TP12, the most recent arrival.

TP08/10/13 still to be delivered, plus the spare

Hopefully helpful summary in post #3967;)

However, 03 June, 26 June and 16 July are all around three weeks apart. If TP08/10/13 are delivered in such speedy increments, we could see all sets here in 9-10 weeks; one being early-ish August, one late-ish August and the last mid-ish September.

Post wasn’t intended to be negative in any way:)

Agreed, at the current rate all would be here by the end of the summer. Great to see too how quickly TP11 went from arrival to acceptance too.

I wonder if this is a move to either collect 68019 and 68022 or to replace them at York Siemens Depot?

Paths for Thursday 18.07.2019
0Z68 09:24 Longsight to York Siemens (12:56)
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O22643/2019/07/18/advanced

14:54 York Siemens to Crewe Gresty Bridge (18:43)
http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/R00032/2019/07/18/advanced

Big one still on Friday 5E68, anyone with a shout on that one, much appreciated:)
