What tests are involved at the assessment day?
Is DFFT mentioned?
They will have offered you the available place based on their own recruitment timescales. If you can't make it or don't want it then they will reallocate the place to someone else. Yes it's not ideal but most of us who have walked this path have had to travel for the tests.
that’s the spirit!
Still not had an email. Driving me crazy waiting.
I have applied for Glasgow and as per previous post the assessment seems to be Leeds
Can anyone co form where the majority of the training takes place?
Ie if it's all somewhere like Leeds how long would this be for?
Do we get rejection emails? I haven’t heard anything.
Same with me, I'd applied for Newcastle, was surprised at being offered 17th/18th December at Leeds though as I'd assumed it would of been at Doncaster on the 19th as I'm sure that was the date specified when I applied. After reading the thread this morning I'm classing myself as being very lucky to have gotten this far. I appreciate all the information that people have given in here, it's been really helpful and I just want to wish everyone good luck. If anyone is doing their assessment in Leeds on the 18th....I'll see you there.
I’m sure the ‘19’ part was to indicate 2019 not Dec 19th.
Has anyone who applied to Preston or other North west depots heard anything yet?
I did I haven’t heard anything.
Gotta be realistic and know when to stop iv put off alot of progress in my job now
anyone for Cleethorpes and Sheffield?
Me. Also hull. I could of put York looking at google maps but I didn’t because it takes me longer than 60mins to get there. I should of looked at google maps first rather than going off real time and it could of been another option.
Not heard anything
I've applied for a job at Preston and not heard anything yet
looks to me as Glasgow only atm
Sheffield for me mate, booked in for the assessment on the 17th but I’m waiting on an email about if I need to attend as passed all the paper tests for EMR or as it was EMT about 11 months ago.
Good luck for those attending next week!!
do you know if dfft is required?
I dunno what that is pal?
driver fault finding test
Its part of the psychometric tests
If it doesn't mention it then it won't be needed
Manchester Piccadilly. Not heard anything yet!
It just says this mate so I’m guessing not
At this first stage you will take the following tests:
- Group Bourdon
- Trainability for Rules and Procedures Parts 1 and 2
- Test of Everyday Attention (Tea-occ)
Do not want to give anyone false hope but the next stage sounds as if it is ongoing until February 2020, written in full, to avoid confusion. Please see attached screen shot of the job advert.
Manchester here too patiently refreshing emails daily
Still not heard anything for Liverpool... not looking good folks
I think they are doing it by
I think they are doing it by depot basis.
I wander if there were rejection emails yet. Not to be horrible I would just like to know if I did not get it not to build hopes up. So confusing.
I applied for Liverpool and have had an assessment invite, just waiting for a response as to whether my current results can be used rather than having to take them again.
I'm hoping it is glasgow,Newcastle and yorkshire si far and they haven't got round to Northwest yet.
Anyone heard for Newcastle yet?
